Protocol Dressage Day – 31 January 2015

Date: Saturday 31 January 2015
Venue: Cooranbong Equestrian Reserve, Cooranbong
As the 23 November protocol day was cancelled due to hot weather, it will be held on this date instead.
The format of the day will allow each rider/horse one half hour session with a judge. You will run through a test of your choice (dressage or eventing) and it will be scored as per a normal competition. You will then have the rest of the session to speak with the judge about areas for improvement and understand why they gave the marks that they did. Use the time to re-ride parts of the test under the judge’s direction. This is a fabulous learning opportunity and should catapult your test scores to another level!
Rules:
1. Events held under EA and Watagan Equestrian Club rules
2. To help with the running of the day it is expected that all competitors will be able to assist or provide a helper.
3. Horses may compete in two consecutive levels only. Riders can enter a maximum of two horses.
4. Callers are permitted.
5. All riders ride at their own risk as per disclaimer.
6. To claim membership discount, rider must be a current financial WEC member.
7. No dogs allowed in the arena area. All dogs must be on a leash at all times.
